So today, I just had to share my breakfast because it feels & tastes so succulent, rich, vibrant and alive. It’s a green smoothie with a Katariina twist. What’s the twist? Well I can’t drink anything cold or with ice so it is room temperature but still so yummy. The ingredients change with what is on hand but todays was made with:
Kale, arugula, banana, blueberries, blackberries, stevia leaves from my garden, a few mint leaves, hemp seeds, chia seeds & water. After I blend it all up in my super-duper blender I top it with cacao nibs, goji berries and coconut.
It’s so good and feels great to drink. I just had to share. Oh I learned how to make these from the Raw Food masters, the Louks Family. They wrote a book called Rawumptious Recipes and it is filled with so many good recipes that you can make from your backyard garden, or front yard in our case. Thanks Jeff!
Yum, yum I want some! 🙂 Moments like this I wish I had a garden! But celebrating that you DO have a garden and can make “rawumptious” delights! Love you
I’ve been making green drinks more than ever since seeing Jeff and getting the family Louks’ book! And we’ve got greens now thanks to our gardener, friend, housemate, Sabrina!
